This morning, SEMMA was thrilled to host our first ‘Meet the Prime’ defence information session with Thales Australia at the Holiday Inn Dandenong. With over 40 attendees, we brought the industry together with defence experts to explore opportunities within the sector.
Cameron Purdey CSC shared a transparent analysis of the current defence landscape, discussed upcoming projects and extended an invitation to potential suppliers for collaboration.
Stephen Harvey and Mark Cowan-Aston from ODIS (Office of Defence Industry Support) also provided invaluable insights into how the Victorian Government supports SMEs in the defence supply chain through mentorship and grants.
Networking also served as a cornerstone of this event, where our attendees could connect with peers, industry leaders and our guest speakers over refreshments. SEMMA also extend our gratitude to member Holiday Inn Dandenong for their support as the event sponsor, who helped us make this event possible.
