SEMMA is taking a stand against an unjustified cash grab by the Victorian state government on Land Tax affecting local manufacturers. In a recent survey conducted among SEMMA members, 100% of respondents reported facing extreme increases in Land Tax compared to the previous year.
We are deeply concerned over the impact of these hikes on local manufacturers and actively urge our members to appeal their assessments.
In a bid for accountability, SEMMA has posed five crucial questions regarding the Land Tax increase, and believe transparency and dialogue are essential in addressing the concerns of its members and ensuring fair treatment for the manufacturing sector.
