With a focus on raising awareness among high school students, their parents, and careers advisors, the campaign aims to shift perceptions and encourage more young people to consider modern manufacturing as a viable and exciting career path. By showcasing the industry’s advancements and emphasising its commitment to sustainability and security, SEMMA hopes to attract a new generation of talented individuals who can contribute to the industry’s growth and success. These are our educational partners, and we recommend their courses for a career in manufacturing. Whether it’s welding and making metal objects or robotics, Ai, 3D printing and CAD design that has you interested – there’s never been a better time to make the move to manufacturing.

There are dozens of short, medium and long-term courses and even micro-credentials that can make the move so much easier. Many of these courses are now FREE – thanks to funding from the Victorian Government. You can earn while you learn in manufacturing and avoid huge study debts!
