On Wednesday 12 January 2022, SEMMA facilitated the introduction of Tim Wilson MP to member Bellevue Orchard as part of the opening of the Energy Efficient Communities Grant program.
The grant is designed to support Australian SME food & beverage manufacturers with grants of up to $25,000 to reduce both their emissions & energy bills.
NICK RUSSO, Executive Director of Bellevue Orchard, gave a tour of his facility which provides juicing, processing, fermentation and bottling services to their three brands, in addition to other private labels.
SEMMA is proud to celebrate our food manufacturing members and highlight government funded opportunities to upgrade to more energy efficient equipment, invest in smart monitoring systems and undertake feasibility studies/assessments on their energy systems.
We encourage any food and beverage manufacturers to look into the Energy Efficient Communities program. To check eligibility, click here.
