WORKSHOP – ZERO EMISSIONS ROADMAP

7 May @ 8:00 am - 9:00 am

SEMMA has been working with Greater South East Melbourne (GSEM) and the South East Councils Climate Change Alliance (SECCCA) to develop a regional Zero Emissions Roadmap for the South East of Melbourne.

This Roadmap provides an opportunity to proactively and collaboratively position the region to benefit and prosper in a low-emissions world.  It identifies key roles for GSEM and SECCCA member councils and South East Melbourne Manufacturers Alliance (SEMMA) in the task of reducing carbon emissions to net zero by 2050 across five key sectors (industrial, commercial, residential, transport and waste).

The next step is to develop an Implementation Plan to guide action over the next four years.

This workshop will be led by Kate Nicolazzo from climate change agency Let Me Be Frank, and is one of a series of eight (8) across the region.

We are seeking insights, expertise and opinions from local manufacturing businesses to help identify, refine and test potential actions for the Implementation Plan for the Industrial sector.

The sessions will be held online via Microsoft Teams and there are two potential times for you to join:

8am to 9am on Tuesday the 7th of May – Register here – https://bit.ly/3PL65Ai

OR

4pm to 5pm on Wednesday the 8th of May 4 – Register here – https://bit.ly/4azK4MA

Once you register you will receive an email with a link and calendar appointment for the relevant session – a small reading pack will also be sent out with the agenda approximately a week before the session.

If you have any questions about the project please reach out to Kate via kate@letmebefrank.com.au
