SEMMA Members get well deserved “boost”

 

SEMMA Member Bar Crusher Boats, located in Dandenong South will be investing in new equipment, creating 12 new jobs and increasing its exports thanks to a funding grant under the Labor Government’s Future Industries Manufacturing Program.

This grant will enable Bar Crusher to purchase and implement the latest Robotic Processing Line, providing world-class production capabilities, as well as increase the capacity and competitiveness of its production facility.

The Future Industries Manufacturing Program assists companies to purchase and implement new manufacturing technologies and processes and that will provide a critical foundation for:

  • Generating sustainable new jobs, including high-value jobs
  • Improving productivity and international competitiveness and
  • Targeting growth opportunities.

SEMMA Member Ace Wire Works, located in Hallam were the chosen venue for Minister for Industry and Employment Wade Noonan to announce $144,000 in funding to help supply chain businesses affected by the changing automotive manufacturing landscape in Victoria.
